MP3 up to 320kbps with cover art and track details filled in, or MP4 up to 1080p that plays on a phone as well as a computer. WAV when you need it uncompressed.
It is deleted from the server shortly after you download it. There is no account and no library, because there is nothing kept to put in one.
An MP3 can only carry what the source holds, which on YouTube is usually around 128 to 160kbps. Asking for 320 makes a bigger file, not a better one, whatever other converters claim.
An add-on is quickest when you are already watching. The app suits long videos and anything our servers cannot reach. The website asks nothing of your machine.

Plenty of tools promise any video from any website. That is not a promise anyone can keep: paid services, private accounts and anything behind sign-in stay out of reach, for us and for everyone else. What we list above is what we test.
A post has to be viewable without logging in. A private account, a members-only upload or a paid stream cannot be fetched, and a converter claiming otherwise is either guessing or lying to you.
Every supported site can come back as an MP3. Most can come back as MP4 video too, and the converter picks a copy that plays on a phone rather than the largest file it can find.

Up to 320kbps for MP3 and up to 1080p for MP4. Both are capped by the source: a stream recorded at 128kbps cannot become 320kbps by converting it.
The Windows app comes from the Microsoft Store, which certifies every package it publishes, and the add-ons are reviewed by Mozilla, Microsoft and Google before they are listed. None of them bundle other software.

No. Paid and protected video is encrypted, and nothing that claims to strip that is telling you the truth. The same goes for private accounts and members-only posts: if you cannot watch it signed out, we cannot fetch it.
